I had a great time playing tonight! I invited my new friend from work over with his new figurines he picked up and we had a blast! We talked comics, had a lovely lunch, drank soda, and basically battled our opposing teams of giant monsters for over 3 hours! I played the primeval Terrasaurs while he opposed me as the giant robots known as the G.U.A.R.D. We pushed and shoved and bit and kicked in proper monster fashion until I tossed him atop a nuclear power plant alongside a oil refinery. The resulting explosion of nuclear oil fire took the fight out of him. later on we took up a second game, only with the wildcard of my sister Becky playing in a three way monster showdown. I tore off as the Terrasaurs again, only this time Festus (the work friend) played the Elemental Champions and Becky played the mighty robot dinosaur known as Cyber Khan. We had a great big crazy fight, with lots of tosses and beatings that suit giant monsters, and Festus walked away with the champions belt. All in all, a wonderful game from the good folks at Privateer Press and a wonderful way to spend my only Sunday off from work. I encourage all big monster fans to check this game out. It's a great tactics game with great appeal.
